The British painter, Tim Brown was born in 1954 and lives in the UK in West Wales. He trained at Watford Art College and Exeter Art College, yet his skill in painting is in the style of the old Masters and is largely self taught through the time-honoured practice of studying and copying their techniques, rather than following the path of Abstract Expressionism which was explored by many of his contemporaries.

His great love is animals, particularly dogs and is evident in the selection of subjects for his paintings.
